One is, my boat was referred to as a 32 Convertible by the previous owner. When I look at ads for them, sometimes they are called Convertibles and sometimes Flybridge Sedans and they all look identical. Anyone know what the model was really called by Pacemaker, and what the word Convertible actually refers to?
And two, can anyone shed light on 'Alglas'? Some Pacemaker models seem to have Alglas emblems on them. Mine doesn't, but in the original owner's manual, there is a picture of the factory and the sign says 'Alglas Boats' and there are also other Alglas references. Was Alglas a particular corporate incarnation of Pacemaker? A name for a model line or a construction technique, a marketing term, etc.?
OK, that's probably way more than 2 questions... _________________ Ron |
