Where you ever in a situation, where you had a fishing blitz and you lost your lure or hook? It has happened to me on numerous times. Last August and September we continously had schools of Blues mixed with Weakfish chasing bait in the Bay. Of course we lost a few lures to the Blues and damaged plastics. Instead of wasting time changing lures, we had spare rods and my son would retie the others when we went to move so that we always had spares. The same goes for bottom or live bait fishing. One tip, DON'T LEAVE THE SINKER ON BOTTOM RIGS ON WHEN MOVING. YOU WILL DAMAGE THE ROD. Take the second and install the sinker before you use it. When moving we have an area on both boats where we store them flat so the sinker does not do any damage. I also pre rig my trolling rods so that we are not fumbling around at the last second. It makes the trip a lot more enjoyable.
