Hey everyone, it's the beginning of a new season and I just want to start it off right because it's been a bear of a winter, and wish everyone a Happy Easter holiday or Passover whichever applies and hope you all have a great boating season....Leo

Funny you should mention that , John, it was snowing for about half an hour when I wrote that message, but it's gone now !! I 'm leaving for the Island now and it's supposed to be 24 degrees down there and not get out of the 30's till after the weekend. I promissed my neighbor I'd help with some OUTSIDE work that had to be done before some paver guys came in later in the week . I guess it's gonna be winters last shot at me so it might as well make it a good one ..LOL Have a good Holiday everyone....Leo

I'll tell you what Mike, it sure is an awful long corner this year. I looked at the 10 day forecast here in Ct and it shows the temps in the 40s right through until next weekend. Must be a little cooler up your way. Happy Easter everyone.

Hey everyone, happy easter. I've been working on my boat, its going in tomorrow at 1 pm, only 7 days later than I wanted. The weather is still cold and it looks like winter is going to make a comeback but I'm still launching tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a nice easter
Terry

Terry,

I hope your launch went well and the gremlins did not mess with your boat over the winter.

Thanks John, I did have one minor glitch, but She's safe and sound floating in a slip. I need to work on the rod that connects the 2 rudders together. When I got the boat, the previous owner had broken off one of the grease fittings and let it rust so bad the rudders couldnt turn. I had taken it apart and repaired the fittings and cleaned all of the rust out and it worked ok. At launch, the helm was stiff and a little hard to move, so I probably didnt get it completely. I drove her by steering with the trannys and just a little gas. Problem was the rudders weren't straight when I was bringing her up the river to her slip.
Now if the weather would just warm up.....
