I have a question for all you die hard project guys.
I have a 1972 42 ft woody pacemaker, aft cabin and fly bridge. Very Happy
In this style of boat, the master stateroom has two single beds on each side with the fuel tanks beneath them. My question is has anybody moved the bed into the middle and created a queen bed with the fuel tanks centered under the bed. How big a project is this and was there any major problems that I should know about before I undertake this project. My worry is that it will cause instability of the boat while under way. I wonder if it will frequently rock from side to side.

I appreciate any suggestions,

thanks,
Dave
