Hey Fred, That is one beautiful boat,I'll bet it turns more heads than many of the newer ones that are around. |

Fred,
Nice looking boat, You just have to admire the lines of a real classic boat - Yea they have little fixes here and there let's see where the new boats are after 30 years of use - bet they won't even be around! Take care of her!

I love the lines of these older boats. When I started my search I had three brands in mind: Pacemaker, Trojan, and Chris Craft. I know there are others of similar quality, but I was most familiar with these.
I just got lucky. This one has been maintained to a reasonable standard - not a show piece - but mechanically sound (notwithstanding my recent exhaust issue). If it were a classic car, I'd describe it as a "twenty-footer". She looks great from twenty feet away.
I hope I can keep her in the condition to which she's accustomed.
When I'm cruising, folks will look my way. But ya know, I don't know if they are looking just because a boat is going by, or because its this particular boat. Sometimes I think its because they can't believe something this old still floats! If only they knew. |
