Hello all, I'm Fred (in case the username didn't give it away).

In August 2005, I bought a 1969 '31 Alglas FB Express. She was basically turn-key and ready for cruising. Because of the disparity in cost versus appearance, I though Cheap Champagne was a fitting name Laughing . I'll add more about her past and future in another post.

At any rate, I wanted to thank all those working behind the scenes for getting a new forum up so quickly.

Hi Terry.

I'm in Southern Maryland. I cruise the Patuxent River and the middle Chesapeake Bay. Unfortunately, I never seem to find time to do much cruising, but I'm trying correct that.

I keep her in year-round, thanks to a engine compartment heater. So, my season isn't done yet.

I am in CT, so my boat is on the hard until next April. Must be nice to have a long boating season!
