I am going to change over the fuel pump (preventative maintanence so to speak) on my port engine. Doesn't seem to difficult, but I've never done it before. Anything I should watch out for (Chrysler 318)?

Shawn,

If you haven't already done it it is not that difficult. You my have to rotate the engine when installing. I am almost sure that there is a rod that depresses the arm on the pump. Make sure that it doesn't fall out when removing the pump and fall into the bilge. It has been a long time since I worked on a Chrysler engine.

Thanks John. I haven't gotten around to it yet. Just something I'd like to get done before the summer is over. Its the last "questionable" part on the old engine.

Shawn,

Starting July6, I have scheduled my vacation weeks every other week. We also may be going to 10 hour days, 4 day work week with Friday off. If you need a hand or want to stretch a line give me a yell. Maybe we can get Leo out.

Sounds good. If the rain would stop for a bit, that would be nice as well.
