Everyone,

Don't be shy, share your catches and tips with us all. We would like to hear about your season, how it went and what are your plans, what kind of bait, hooks, jigs, rods, reels, etc. that you prefer and why. We all do things different and sharing techniques would interest us all and improve our angling skills and form friendships.

I'm high and dry these days. This was probably one of the worst years I have had for fishing. Hopefully next year will bring things back on an even keel

Didn't do much this season so far. The fluke day off of Montauk got us nothing but skate and two very small fluke. Went out for stripers about 2 weeks ago and got a big blue (and 3 girls flashing us on the way back Smile. There is still some time left in the season so hopefully I'll find some time and get out more.

Rich,

You sound as if you have a job like mine. Your Fluke season sounds like mine. Lets hope that we find the time and get out striper fishing and score. Your "by catch" on the way back in did not seem bad.

Terry,

Look at the improvements you are doing as an omen that the fish are on hiatus and getting bigger at the underwater buffet (I heard it was Sushi and now I have proof that it is left over bait). By the way, if one of those birds from the sign score a direct hit on you, let us know, because we are definitely going fishing with you because it has to be good luck.
